Afternoon Tea at the Fairmont Chateau

On Monday we went to the FAIRMOUNT CHATEAU at Lake Louise

We decided to take Afternoon Tea

Here is the excerpt for the Chateau's website explaining Afternoon Tea.
Spend an afternoon having Traditional English Tea.
To begin, enjoy a glass of sparkling wine, followed by a fresh fruit cocktail in Cointreau syrup. Then, over a pot of our exclusively blended tea, enjoy perfect bite-sized finger sandwiches, buttermilk scones, and homemade pastries and sweets.
The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise Special Blend of Tea
The pristine waters of Lake Louise and awe inspiring mountains inspired this specially commissioned tea blend for The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.
Peak seasonal teas from the best tea growing regions of the world were selected. From the Kiambu Region in Kenya teas with a floral-like character were chosen due to their flavor and golden infusion. From India's Assam Valley teas that are only available during the 2nd flush (June) give the blend fullness and a deep malt character.

Also from India are piquant flavour teas grown in the Nilgiri Mountains, which complement the high altitude teas from the Dimbula Region in Sri Lanka. To give the tea a burgundy depth and a hint of oak, Keemun tea from China's Anhui Province were also selected. This tea has sprightly flavour with a lovely finish

Everything was amazing. We enjoyed the scones, finger sandwiches, pastries, and of course the tea.

This picture is not the best picture of us, but shows you the amazing view we had. You can also see the tier of goodies.
