Darren went to Puerto Rico

Darren went to Puerto Rico and brought back some wondeful Flan. Here are some pictures of Puerto Rico and views from his hotel.

Where the large cruise ships dock by Old Town, San Juan

These massive walls were built around San Juan to protect it from its enemies.  San Juan was Spain's
main shipping port in its transportation of gold, silver and jewels back to
Spain from the Americas.

Castle El Morro protected San Juan through various attacks during the 1500's. Work was started on the fort in 1539, with construction of various defenses continuing over the next 200 years.

Nightime festivals happen quite often especially when cruise ships are in port.  Lots of live music, open air dining, and people selling trinkets abound.  Also, salsa music and dancing.
Doesn't this look nice for December?
