ATVing

While in Banff we decided to go on an ATV tour. ATV tours aren't allowed in the National Park so we drove down to Canmore which is just outside the Park to go on our tour. Here is the information on the tour.

CANMORE QUAD TOURS
Lost Knife Creek Tour
Duration - 1/2 day
Passengers go free and can share the driving* (Darren and I both had our own ATVs. Natalie doesn't share)
Free transportation to trail head** (During this time they'll explain what to do if a Grizzly Bear attacks.)
Our most popular tour. Introducing you to ATVing and giving you an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the Foothills.Stopping at a stunning view point for photos before making your return to the trail head. An excellent activity for families or friends, this tour is limited to small group sizes for your pleasure.
Quad time is 2 hours plus 1/2 an hour orientation. Total round trip from Canmore 4.5 hours.
Travel time from Canmore to trial head is 1 hour.
Tours depart from Canmore, Alberta.

Here is Darren suited up ready to go. Due to the mud, we decided to switch out our hiking boots to their milking boots as Darren called them.
Here is Natalie ready to go.

Here are a few pictures of what the view was like on our ride

Here's the Grizzly marks to show everyone that this area has been taken by a Grizzly Bear...

Here we are with our milk boots! My pants look white, but they are actually a light brown.  We ended up getting most of the mud on our coats & boots.  Which is amazing with the amount of mud we went through!

Here we are on the trail, getting ready for some MUDDING...
Darren stopped to take a picture of the Guide & Natalie going through a large "puddle" in the trail!

Darren stopped to let the guide take a picture of him on the trail!

Here is Darren coming up from a dip in the trail. The water usually hid a deep hole so it was definitely exciting to go into a hole and not know how deep it was going to be!

The guide took a picture of Natalie going through a puddle. Darren is in the back.
We had an amazing time and would love to do it again!!
